The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards are coming up! There’s so much to do in so little time, so I shall now be giving you my predictions for the Drama Series categories.

Outstanding Drama Series:
  1. Stranger Things
  2. Westworld
  3. The Handmaid’s Tale
  4. The Crown
  5. Better Call Saul
  6. This is Us
  7. House of Cards
After having won this award two years in a row, Game of Thrones isn’t eligible this year given that its seventh season debuted after the eligibility period for the 2016-17 TV season. What’s also exciting is that five out of the seven nominees for Outstanding Drama Series this year are new shows. Though which one of them could win? From the Creative Arts Awards that were held last weekend, Stranger Things and Westworld both tied for the most wins (each of them won 5). Westworld may have overperformed in nominations when they were announced back in July (it led with Saturday Night Live for 22 overall), but Stranger Things, which was the breakout hit of last year has really captured the cultural zeitgeist. It may have also been helped by the fact that two of its wins at the Creative Arts Awards were for Casting and Picture Editing, which are very important victories required in order to win the top award. Though I’d keep an eye out on The Handmaid’s Tale, which is Hulu’s first entry into the Drama series category that just so happens to be culturally relevant to the times we’re living in.

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series:
  1. Sterling K. Brown-This is Us
  2. Kevin Spacey-House of Cards
  3. Anthony Hopkins-Westworld
  4. Bob Odenkirk-Better Call Saul
  5. Liev Schreiber-Ray Donovan
  6. Milo Ventimiglia-This is Us
  7. Matthew Rhys-The Americans
After having won last year for his acclaimed breakthrough performance as Christopher Darden on The People v. O.J. Simpson, Sterling K. Brown went on to earn more acclaim for his performance on NBC’s breakout hit, This is Us. Though since his co-star Milo Ventimiglia was able to make the cut, could they both be at risk of vote-splitting? Kevin Spacey, who’s long overdue for an Emmy, could either be helped or hurt by how relevant House of Cards is right now. Then there’s Anthony Hopkins, who has won two Emmys in the past. If Westworld ends up being strong with the acting branch, he seems to have a good shot of prevailing. He may have more of a supporting role on the show, though he was still able to win the Best Actor Oscar for only 15 minutes of screentime in The Silence of the Lambs.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series:
  1. Elisabeth Moss-The Handmaid’s Tale
  2. Claire Foy-The Crown
  3. Evan Rachel Wood-Westworld
  4. Robin Wright-House of Cards
  5. Viola Davis-How to Get Away with Murder
  6. Keri Russell-The Americans
Within the past eight years, Elisabeth Moss has earned six Emmy nominations for her role as Peggy Olson on Mad Men as well as a nomination for her performance on the BBC miniseries Top of the Lake, but still has yet to win. That’s likely going to change this year for her heartbreaking performance on The Handmaid’s Tale. Though if an upset happens here, keep an eye out on Claire Foy for her breakout performance as Queen Elizabeth on The Crown. Or maybe Evan Rachel Wood if Westworld ends up being strong with the acting branch.

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series:
  1. John Lithgow-The Crown
  2. Ron Cephas Jones-This is Us
  3. David Harbour-Stranger Things
  4. Jeffrey Wright-Westworld
  5. Jonathan Banks-Better Call Saul
  6. Michael Kelly-House of Cards
  7. Mandy Patinkin-Homeland
Back when The Crown debuted on Netflix last fall, it seemed that John Lithgow had a great shot of winning here for his towering performance as the prime minister Winston Churchill. He’s a veteran actor who’s won 5 Emmys in the past and is giving a very transformative performance on the show. While I still think he’s outfront, I’d keep an eye out on Ron Cephas Jones. He’s a veteran actor who finally got his breakout role this past year on This is Us. Though if the acting branch remembers David Harbour’s political speech when Stranger Things won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series at the SAG Awards earlier this year, I could see him being a potential threat in this category.

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series:
  1. Thandie Newton-Westworld
  2. Millie Bobby Brown-Stranger Things
  3. Chrissy Metz-This is Us
  4. Ann Dowd-The Handmaid’s Tale
  5. Uzo Aduba-Orange is the New Black
  6. Samira Wiley-The Handmaid's Tale
You might as well throw a dart on the board to predict a winner in this category. Thandie Newton has been lauded as a standout on Westworld. She’s also probably that show’s best shot at winning an acting award. Though 13-year-old Millie Bobby Brown has received tons of attention for her breakout role on Stranger Things, but are Emmy voters really going to rally around a kid? Though if that show does really well, I could see her prevailing here. Plus, you’ve got Chrissy Metz, who has the narrative of how she went from rags to riches when she got her breakout role on This is Us.

Be sure to watch the Emmys on CBS at 8:00 this Sunday night.
