With Academy Award nominations set to be announced at around 8:30e/5:30p this Tuesday morning, a majority of the other major awards groups have announced their set of nominees (or in some cases, winners). Below is a list of all the films that have so far been recognized in below-the-line categories, with hopes of becoming Oscar nominees this year.
To let you know what some of the abbreviations stand for, ADG stands for Art Directors Guild, CDG stands for Costume Designers Guild, ASC stands for American Society of Cinematographers, CAS stands for Cinema Audio Society, VES stands for Visual Effects Society, MUAHSG stands for Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild. Normally, I would also include ACE Eddie for Best Film Editing, but their nominations won’t be announced until two days after Oscar nods are.
